This was painted in late Summer 2018 facing Northwest on Main St. and Esplanade in Lexington. I have been obsessed with this skeleton of a building called Centre Point and seem to want to capture it from every angle before construction is complete. I have also been drawn to the transitional light at dusk. There were moments working on this where the the horizon seemed on fire with light bouncing off everything, it was a thrill to try and get it all as it changed minute to minute.
